Anthony (Tony) Masztak, director, provides project management and analysis for a full range of accounting and consulting services in the areas of intellectual property, litigation support, valuations, and financial reorganization. Mr. Masztak's IP experience includes analyzing and calculating damages in both patent infringement and trademark matters. He has extensive experience in developing and supporting claims for lost profits and reasonable royalties. Also, he has significant experience in determining the potential exposure for clients with products that are potentially at risk of infringing another entity's intellectual property. In addition, Mr. Masztak has considerable expertise in reviewing license agreements, analyzing royalty streams, and critiquing damages analyses of other experts. Mr. Masztak has also analyzed issues of irreparable harm in connection with preliminary injunction hearings and has performed analysis of commercial success as part of secondary considerations of nonobviousness in patent infringement cases. Additionally, Mr. Masztak brings deep experience in other financial consulting specialties. His experience includes forensic accounting, fraud investigations, litigation support, business valuations of companies in a variety of industries and for financial reporting purposes and financial reorganization issues, including preparation and evaluation of forecasts and budgets, identifying and implementing cost-cutting measures to reduce expenses, and analysis of financial reports. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Masztak served as a manager in the Assurance and Enterprise Risk Services Department of Deloitte & Touche LLP. During this time, he served clients in various industries ranging in size from small, privately held companies to large multi-national, Fortune 100 companies, with a range of revenues from $50 million to $10 billion. |
